«Chaos in the Foyer» #mixedmedia, oil on canvas, marker clear a representation of the #dichotomy of what is considered to be clean and precise with what is quick, messy and almost careless. The outcome: capturing the idea of expressive freedom. I communicate the importance of acknowledging imperfection and error in order to see and understand what is the contrary. My ideas of polarity are communicated through the contrast of techniques i use and i hope onlookers find themselves questioning their own values as well as aesthetic standards in order to reach a greater state of acceptance and tolerance/understanding. This, is the landscape i try to reveal in hopes to generate awareness, deeper thought and contemplation.
